Joe Ging has
more than 50 years of experience in the
Hardware Trade. He began his career at the tender age of 15 and is
pictured above right (centre) shortly after he started work with Gaze
and Jessops. In 1990, along with his sons Paul & Christy,
he took over the business he had worked in for over 30 years and
established Gings Hardware.

 In 1995 we became members of
Associated
Hardware and we proudly carry the Homevalue
brand. This association, the largest hardware group in Ireland, has
given us improved buying power and a solid marketing image that enables
us to offer a premium service and very competitive prices to our
customers.

On September 27th 2001, we opened a second store in Portlaoise in
Kea-Lew
Business Park, Mountrath Road. This 15,000 sq ft Superstore boasts a beautiful bathroom and shower showrooms as
well as a state-of-the-art Home Heating showroom to showcase Stoves and
Cookers from Waterford Stanley, Rayburn, Aga and Esse. The Stanley Centre was the
first of it's kind to be opened in Ireland.
